Homestead Schools, a highly successful vocational nursing institution in Torrance, received approval from the Board of Vocational Nursing to open a branch in Costa Mesa, Orange County with a class of 30 students to begin in February 2023. The school is located in an attractive business building right of off San Diego freeway at 3090 Bristol Street within a walking distance of South Coast shopping mall and several upscale restaurants and entertainment venues.

Most of you are familiar with Homestead Schools and its VN program. The school has been in operation since 2007 and has a stellar record of preparing its students for exciting careers in the health-care field. The school is consistently rated near the top. The school has a highly rated faculty that cares deeply for its students. Its students train in state-of-the-art clinical simulation lab on site and gain practical experience in many hospitals and long-term care facilities in the nearby community with which the school has training contracts. Now Homestead is expanding its reach into Orange County by opening a branch in Costa Mesa. I’ve included in this article several photographs of the new location.
