As anyone who has gone to a vocational school knows, getting the classroom education and field training for the chosen profession are only one aspect of the endeavor. In most cases the graduates of the program have to pass state board exams to obtain the license to practice the vocation. Once you get the license, the challenge is to land a job and start earning a living which is akin to reaping the fruits of your labor. Realizing your dream fills you with an incredible sense of success and satisfaction.

Here at Homestead we take special pride in making sure that every student receives the best education, training, and support to realize the dream of becoming a licensed vocational nurse. Then we work with these newly minted nurses to help them secure the best employment in the medical field. Although we cannot guarantee a job to anyone, we do everything to prepare these students to take their rightful place in the healthcare industry which includes helping them write an attractive resume, teach them how to conduct a job search, make an impression at the interview, and then follow up till the job offer comes through.
